Now as we are on the bikes, ready to go, and Harold decides Dave's route to get out of Chicago is a bad plan. So last minute change, take the interstates out of the city. Which turns out to be a good idea, although out of the way, much faster. And then to get back to our original route, we had to visit our old stomping ground, Route 66. And it turns out that in 2001 when we all went through there, K&K had missed this icon.
