Our log house last winter

Then we all go grocery shopping for Japanese groceries, Kyoko is going to teach me to cook Japanese. As we finally get on the highway Dave calls, he is already at the lake. And our neighbor Al spotted him pulling in, and has already taken him up to his house, got him a beer and some food. Dave is welcomed up at Al's with all of his guests while he waits several hours for us to get there. We join them and have dinner up there. The sky is overcast, so Kazuo does not get to see his "star river" and all through the night it rains and thunderstorms.
