Harold at Norstead, a real life saga, on the Viking Trail

One thousand years ago Vikings inhabited a settlement at L'Anse aux Meadows. While the Vikings stayed there only a brief period, the sagas forever remind us of their journeys west to an unknown land. The remnants of their stay were found and are interpreted at L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site. Then we visited Norstead, which represents how the Viking settlement may have evolved, had they stayed longer.
