Driving in Newfoundland

We are on our way to Gros Morne National Park. Gros Morne is a truly magnificent place with a rich variety of scenery and wildlife. With its landscape of mountains, fjords, and scenic coastline, it offers world-class outdoor adventure. Because of its geological significance, Gros Morne was designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Here we visited arctic-alpine barrens populated by caribou and Arctic hare, and discovered the coast's 4,500-year-old human history. This park is considered by many to be the most beautiful in eastern Canada, if not all of Canada.
