| The Teralani Snorkel Sail |
| Aloha Day 6 Thu 10/21/2004 Start off the day with what Harold calls my "night walk". Yes, I still have jet lag, so at 4AM or 5AM I hike along the ocean. And I am not alone, there are many other eastern and mid-westerners here, hiking, swimming, sleeping in hammocks, etc. Then the best cappuccino on earth at the Hyatt Maui. Then a hosted ocean front breakfast by American Equity. American Equity treated us to a snorkel catamaran sail. Truly fabulous. Three different eels. An octopus. But the endangered green turtle surfaced RIGHT next to us, within less than one foot of our face. We were actually afraid we might accidentally touch him and get the $10,000 to $25,000 fine! The turtles were SO cool! Then the excellent crew BBQ'd a terrific lunch on the boat, and we had a great sail home. At night a fabulous oceanside Hawaian Welcome party, again hosted by American Equity. Another perfect day in paradise, Suzi & Harry |
